The batteries in these photos were removed from a 4mph scooter when a customer came in to the shop to say his scooter was not holding a good charge.
We took a look and further inspections found that the batteries were so badly swollen, that they were dangerous and ready to explode if left undetected. Luckily the customer had the sense to bring his battery pack and charger to us for checking.
It turned out to be faulty batteries as the charger was working overtime to charge these faulty batteries. We checked the charger and fitted replacement batteries, making his scooter all good to go again, and one happy customer.
